Dosage and Administration of Abrocitinib

Abrocitinib Interactions with Other Drugs

The use of abrocitinib with certain drugs can cause drug interactions, such as:

  • Increased risk of bleeding if used together with antiplatelet drugs, such as anagrelide .
  • Increased risk of infection if used together with drugs that have an immunosuppressant effect, for example adalimumab or cilostazol.
  • Increased risk of infection or reduced vaccine effectiveness if used with live vaccines, such as BCG
  • Increased effectiveness of abrocitinib if used with fluconazole or fluvoxamine
  • Decreased effectiveness of abrocitinib when used with rifampicin

Side Effects and Dangers of Abrocitinib

Some side effects that may occur after consuming abrocitinib are:

  • Stomach ache
  • Skin infection or rash
